St. Germain Salt and Pepper Shakers
My Bride was on a definite budget so we married her wedding goals with her desire to keep things rustic and repurposed when possible. I used repurposed glass bottles to make a few items for a rustic barn wedding on Whidbey Island last summer, salt and pepper shakers, colored vases and water bottles.

St. Germain liquor bottles upcycled after they served their initial purpose. This project should take you less than 5 minutes, after you have finished your Elderflower cocktail.
Use a small nail and gently pierce holes in the cap of each bottle. I did 5 for the pepper and 4 for the salt. I removed the labels, added salt and pepper.

Ribbon Wine Bottle vases and Ribbon Water Bottles
This is also an easy to do project involving upcycling of wine bottles after they have been tossed aside. Rose wine bottles are best for this project. This should take you a little more than 5 minutes, but well worth it when you consider the many options for the bottles when done; flower vases, flowers with table numbers, water bottles, juice bar, candles. You get the idea. This is an easy way to add a pop of color without spending a lot of time or money.
Wine Bottles with Ribbon and Embellishments
After thoroughly cleaning and removing all labels and markings, I used my industrial double faced BRON tape and began to experiment with the ribbons I had left over from another event. I embellished each bottle differently; some with a frayed edge, some with a crystals, and others with a pearl detail. I used what was lying around from past events and gave them a new purpose. No two bottles were the same.
